BFF Industry Jury

The jury awards the BFF FILM AWARD of NOK 50.000 to the Best International Kids Film. The prize money are awarded to the Norwegian distributor who imports the film to Norwegian cinemas. The jury also awards the BFF SHORT FILM AWARD to the Best Norwegian Short Film. The winning film will be shortlisted for the Amanda Awards.

Malene Oppheim (1984) is a film producer based in Kristiansand. She is the owner of Oppheim Film, where her work spans both fiction and documentary. During the past five years, she has produced a number of short films and documentaries, several of which have won awards and been shown nationally and internationally. The award-winning documentary "Mammaen i meg" (2023) has been shown at film festivals such as BIFF and CPH:DOX. Apart from working on film, Malene is a mother of four, loves the forest and likes to treat herself to a good cortado.

Director and screenwriter

Kristian Landmark, graduate screenwriter from the Norwegian Film School. His master film was the award-winning "When I Fall" (2017). As a documentary filmmaker, he has a number of productions behind him, including the cinema documentary "Tønes", which closed the Norwegian Film Festival in 2019. As a screenwriter, he has worked together with Qvisten Animation. He wrote the animated film "A Mystery on the Cattle Hill Expresst" (2023), and together with director Rasmus A. Sivertsen is developing the short film "Rottefangeren", based on Gaute Heivoll's book. In 2023, Landmark made his debut as a feature film director with "K-town". He has also published several children's and youth books at the dean-recognised publishers Cappelen Damm and Vigmostad & Bjørke.

Rose-Marie Strand

Head of Childrens Film Department at Folkets Bio

Rose-Marie Strand has worked with children's films for over 20 years and is both a film distributor and responsible for purchasing children's films at Folkets Bio in Stockholm. In 2015 she won the Gullspira award. The prize is awarded to people who have made outstanding contributions to Swedish children's films. The award is presented during the Guldbagge gala.
